Project Governance

CENTRALE LYON and EMLYON Business School make all decisions together in a collegial manner.

The organisational structure is comprised of the following committees:

The Strategic Development Committee:

• Meets as often as necessary at the request of the deans of ECL and EMLYON, and at least twice a year.
• Directs the approximation strategy and follows the general progress of the project.
• Ensures that each of the various institutions involved in the mutual project receives fair representation.

The Steering Committee:

• Meets at least four times a year, chaired alternately by the Presidents of the Boards of Directors from both schools alongside representatives from the Boards of Directors.
• Has a main mission to work on the implementation of guidelines related to the project, as defined by the Boards of Directors of both institutions.
• Manages and coordinates the study phase, the preparation and completion of the joint project.

The Deans’ Committee:

• Meets as often as necessary, and at least once per month, with the deans of both schools and the project pilot to ensure operational compliance of the joint project, under the leadership of the Strategic Development Committee, the Steering Committee and in conjunction with the Boards of Directors of the parties involved.

• Implements the general action plan as defined by the Steering Committee and approves joint financial accounts.

The Project Committees:

• Dedicated to different themes of the project: IDE School, Projects Factory, Student Life, Shared Resources and the Campus.
