Tax benefits for donations to a foundation state-approved (for french residents only) :
Individuals
Income tax deduction
Tax reduction equal to 66% of the amount of the donation, within the limit of 20% of total taxable income.
ISF deduction
Under the TEPA legislation of 21 August 2007, people liable for taxes on capital may support the Yin Yang Foundation and enjoy a reduction of ISF equal to 75%.
Companies
Businesses benefit from a tax deduction equal to 60% of the amount of their donation, with a maximum of 5 per thousand of their turnover (i.e. 0.5% of turnover). If one’s donation exceeds the limit, the tax deduction may be deferred over 5 years if it is more than the 5 per thousand maximum allowed.
